The SAP EWM Consultant/Lead is responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and supporting SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions. The role ensures effective warehouse operations aligned with business needs, SAP best practices, and integrated supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

- Design and implement SAP EWM solutions for inbound, outbound, internal warehouse processes.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP EWM functional designs.
- Configure SAP EWM functionalities including:
- Warehouse structure (Warehouse, Storage Types, Storage Bins)
- Inbound & Outbound Delivery Processing
- Putaway & Picking strategies
- Packing, Loading, and Shipping
- Physical Inventory & Cycle Counting
- Crossdocking and ValueAdded Services (VAS)

- Support and optimize warehouse execution processes.

Implementation & Delivery

- Lead or support endtoend SAP EWM implementations:
- Blueprinting
- Configuration
- Unit & Integration Testing
- UAT support
- Cutover and GoLive

- Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP/technical teams.
- Ensure adherence to SAP Best Practices (Embedded EWM or Decentralized EWM).
