Role & responsibilities

- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of welding fixtures.
- Ensure fixture availability to achieve production targets.
- Inspect and repair welding fixtures, clamps, locators, pins, cylinders, and stopper units.
- Carry out fixture alignment, calibration, and dimensional checks.
- Troubleshoot pneumatic and mechanical fixture issues.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to minimize downtime.
- Plan and execute periodic maintenance activities.
- Maintain fixture spare parts inventory and raise purchase requisitions when required.
- Support recent fixture installation, trial runs, and production start-up.
- Ensure compliance with TPM, 5S, and safety standards.
- Prepare daily maintenance reports and equipment history records.
- Analyze recurring fixture failures and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Guide and supervise technicians and maintenance team members.
- Coordinate with tool room and vendors for fixture modifications and repairs.
