Job Summary

MEIL is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Senior Executive HR & Industrial Relations to support HR operations and industrial relations across our renewable energy and infrastructure project sites in Karnataka.

The role is ideal for HR professionals with experience in the Construction, Infrastructure, EPC, Engineering, or Project-based industry who are passionate about managing people, ensuring statutory compliance, maintaining harmonious industrial relations, and supporting large project workforces.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources

- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and District level manpower dashboards with accuracy.
- Coordinate attendance management, leave administration, and payroll inputs.
- Support implementation of HR policies, processes, and organizational initiatives across project sites.
- Monitor manpower deployment and support workforce planning at site locations.
- Regular day and night visits to Solar Plants for all prescribed checks ( at least 10 plants in a month)

Industrial Relations & Compliance

- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary proceedings, and domestic enquiries in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws, statutory regulations, and company policies. Manage contract labour compliance, statutory documentation, and contractor records.
- Liaise with labour authorities, government departments, and other external agencies as required.

Qualification

- MBA (HR), MSW (HR),



MHRM, PGDM (HR), or an equivalent postgraduate qualification in Human Resources.

Experience

- 58 years of relevant experience in HR & Industrial Relations.
- Experience in Construction, Infrastructure, EPC, Renewable Energy, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Project-based organizations is preferred.
- Hands-on exposure to labour laws, industrial relations, statutory compliance, contract labour management, and workforce administration.
- Experience in managing large project-site workforces will be an added advantage.

Desired Competencies

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills & valuable understanding of Indian labour legislations and statutory compliance.
- Ability to resolve employee grievances and manage industrial relations
- Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills. Willingness to travel and work at project locations.
- Familiarity with managing site administration pertaining to Guest Houses, Vehicles, deployment of NMR, and necessary coordination with project and O&M; staff.
