- Proven production experience building and operating Node.js services (Fastify strongly preferred; Express/NestJS considered), with strict typing, generics, and shared type packages across repos.
- Demonstrable experience structuring services around bounded contexts and aggregates, and implementing Strategy/Registry (or equivalent) patterns to support market-specific variants of shared domain logic.
- Hands-on OpenAPI-driven development: spec as source of truth, code generation, and versioned contract packages (GitHub Packages/npm). Strong GraphQL schema design and resolver implementation over NoSQL stores.
- Container and partition key design, RU optimisation, and query patterns for read-heavy dashboard workloads.



Familiarity with consuming data from Databricks/Delta Lake pipelines is a strong plus.
- OIDC/OAuth2 with PKCE (PingID or similar enterprise IdP), secure token handling, OWASP API Top 10 mitigation, secrets management (Azure Key Vault), input validation and rate limiting at the BFF layer, and PII handling in a regulated insurance/banking workplace.
- Docker and AKS (or equivalent Kubernetes) in production: Helm charts/manifests, resource limits, health probes, autoscaling (HPA), config and secret injection, pod-level debugging, and CI/CD integration (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps).
