Senior Business Development Executive - Metal Industry

We are seeking a energetic and results-driven Senior Business Development Executive to drive business growth in the Metal and Heavy Engineering sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating qualified leads, developing customer relationships, and supporting the complete sales cycle from prospecting to inquiry generation.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Metal and Heavy Engineering industry.
- Conduct market research, lead generation, contact discovery, and customer mapping.
- Generate RFQs and business inquiries for Greenfield, Brownfield, Plant Expansion, Industrial Installation, Machine Relocation, Project Management, Shutdown, and Maintenance projects.
- Schedule customer meetings, presentations, and follow up on inquiries to convert prospects into business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, EPC contractors, and key decision-makers.
- Maintain an updated sales pipeline and customer database using CRM tools.




- Prepare business reports, presentations, and market analysis.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely submission of proposals and customer requirements.
- Travel regularly to customer locations for business development activities.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology, BBA, or MBA (preferred).
- 3-5 years of Business Development experience in the Metal Industry (Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Copper, Non-Ferrous Metals, Foundries, Rolling Mills, or related sectors).
- Proven experience in Market Research, Lead Generation, Appointment Generation, RFQ/Inquiry Generation, and Customer Relationship Management.
- Good understanding of Metal, Steel, Mining, and Heavy Engineering industries.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and willing to travel extensively.
- Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of Hindi, Bengali, or Odia will be an added advantage.
