Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure Cloud, GCP.
- Configure and manage WAF rules to protect web applications from various threats including DDoS attacks, SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), etc.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices and integrate security controls into the software development lifecycle.
- Monitor WAF logs and alerts to identify potential security incidents and respond promptly to mitigate risks.

Job Requirements :

- 8-15 years of experience in designing and implementing WAF solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure Cloud, GCP.
- Robust understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP), HTTP/HTTPS protocols, DNS protocols, SSL/TLS encryption technologies.
- Experience with configuring firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA), load balancers (e.g., NGINX), routers (e.g., Juniper MX).
- Certification in relevant areas such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP would be an added advantage.
