We are looking for an experienced import executive to manage end-to-end pharmaceutical chemical import operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in import documentation, customs compliance, shipment coordination, and international logistics within the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end import operations for pharmaceutical products.
- Prepare and verify import documents, including Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Analysis (CoA), Certificate of Origin (COO), Bill of Lading (BL), Airway Bill (AWB), and Letter of Credit (LC).
- Ensure compliance with DGFT regulations, customs requirements, and international trade norms.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, Customs House Agents (CHAs), shipping lines, and logistics partners for timely clearance and delivery.
- Communicate with international suppliers/customers regarding order processing, shipment schedules, and documentation.
- Monitor shipment status, resolve operational issues, and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain import records and generate MIS reports for management.
- Work closely with internal departments such as Supply Chain, Warehouse, Finance, and Regulatory Affairs.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in pharmaceutical import operations.
- Strong understanding of import documentation, Incoterms, customs clearance procedures, and DGFT regulations.
- Experience coordinating with freight forwarders, CHA, and international logistics partners.
- Valuable communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or equivalent).
