Role & responsibilities

Implement and monitor Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with applicable EHS regulations, GMP and company standards.
Conduct safety inspections, audits and risk assessments.
Organize safety training, toolbox talks and employee awareness programs.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Monitor PPE compliance and promote safe work practices.
Manage hazardous waste disposal and environmental compliance.
Maintain EHS records, permits, statutory registers and documentation.
Coordinate fire safety systems, emergency response drills and evacuation exercises.
Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors and external agencies during inspections.
Support sustainability initiatives and environmental improvement projects.

Preferred candidate profile

Knowledge of EHS regulations and statutory compliance
Experience in pharmaceutical or cosmetic manufacturing
Risk assessment and incident investigation skills
Fire & emergency management knowledge
Valuable communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
