Position: Internal Audit Consultant

Experience: 1 - 4 years Post Qualification (CA)

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (Mandatory)

Work base location: Gurgaon, project can be anywhere in India as per the requirement of the company. This role would require 80% travelling to different locations

Role Overview We are looking for Chartered Accountants with 1 - 4 years of post-qualification experience in Internal Audit, preferably from reputed consulting firms. The role involves conducting risk-based internal audits, commercial reviews for manufacturing and infrastructure clients, evaluating business processes, identifying control gaps, and recommending process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute risk-based internal audits across manufacturing and infrastructure businesses.
- Review operational, financial and compliance processes to identify control weaknesses and improvement opportunities.
- Evaluate Internal Financial Controls (IFC), SOPs and process compliance.
- Perform walkthroughs, process mapping and control testing.




- Bill verification at infrastructure clients along with underlying documents and verifications at site
- Identify operational inefficiencies, revenue leakages, cost optimization opportunities and process improvement initiatives.
- Draft audit reports and present findings to senior management.
- Coordinate with client teams for implementation and closure of audit observations.
- Areas audited - Procurement, Inventory, production, stores, maintenance, sales, logistics and finance processes.

Preferred Industry Exposure

- Manufacturing preferably Building Materials (Tiles, Paints, Pipes, Steel, Cement Products, etc.)
- Infrastructure & EPC
- Renewables & Real Estate

Desired Skills

- Strong understanding of Internal Audit methodology and risk-based auditing.
- Experience in process reviews, operational audits and IFC evaluations.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing business processes and supply chain.
- Robust analytical, report writing and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and analytical tools.
