Job Title: AEM Engineer/Lead
Location: Remote
Experience: 6+ Years
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade digital experience solutions using Adobe Experience Manager. The ideal candidate should possess solid hands-on experience in AEM Sites, Components, Templates, Workflows, and Java development, with a solid understanding of content management systems and modern web technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) applications.
- Develop reusable AEM components, templates, dialogs, workflows, and services.
- Configure and customize AEM Sites, Assets, and Content Fragments.
- Build and maintain OSGi services, Sling Models, Servlets, and REST APIs.
- Integrate AEM with third-party applications and enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with architects, UI/UX designers, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in solution design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Ensure adherence to Adobe and industry best practices for scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Support deployment activities and production issue resolution.
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical documentation.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Strong experience with AEM 6.x and/or AEM as a Cloud Service.

- MSM (Multi-Site Manager)
- Strong Java and J2EE development experience.
- Good knowledge of:
- Apache Sling
- Apache Felix

- Experience developing Sling Models, Servlets, Filters, and OSGi services.
- Strong understanding of HTL (Sightly).
- Experience with Maven and Git.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AEM Assets and Digital Asset Management (DAM).
- Exposure to Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, or Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
- Front-end experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Angular.
- Experience with Dispatcher configuration and caching.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Adobe AEM Certification is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Adobe Experience Manager certification is a plus.
