Role Overview:

As an Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting audits for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries. You will work closely with senior auditors and clients to ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements, identify areas of risk, and provide valuable insights to improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Audit Execution:
Perform audits in compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and relevant industry standards, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Financial Statement Review:
Prepare and review financial statements for clients, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Assessment:
Identify and evaluate financial risks, suggesting corrective actions or improvements where necessary.
- Client Interaction:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing professional advice on accounting issues, internal controls, and financial reporting.
- Audit Planning & Documentation:
Assist in planning audits, preparing working papers, and documenting findings in line with company policies and industry best practices.
- Team Collaboration:
Work closely with junior and senior team members, supporting on larger projects and ensuring efficient audit processes.
- Compliance & Reporting:




Ensure all work complies with internal and external standards, regulations, and quality controls. Assist in producing high-quality audit reports for review by senior staff or partners.

Key Requirements:

- Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in audit, preference given if within a UK-based firm or similar environment.
- Qualification:
ACA/ACCA/BCom/MCom qualified. Candidates with relevant qualifications or nearing completion will also be considered.
- Technical Knowledge:
Good understanding of UK accounting and auditing standards, including UK GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations.
- Skills:
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to interpret financial data and communicate findings clearly.
- Software Knowledge:

QBO, XERO, CCH, Caseware, Myworkpapers, Digita Suite, Iris and Inflo

- Communication:
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Time Management:
Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple audits and meet deadlines.
- Team Player:
Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
