"We are seeking an experienced *Fire Fighting Technician* to join our Operations & Maintenance (O&M;) team at the *Seabird Project, Karwar, Karnataka*. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the installation, operation, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of fire protection and firefighting systems to ensure the safety and reliability of project facilities.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of firefighting systems and equipment.

* Inspect, test, and maintain fire pumps, hydrant systems, sprinkler systems, hose reels, fire extinguishers, and associated firefighting equipment.

* Monitor the operational readiness of fire detection and alarm systems.

* Troubleshoot and rectify faults in firefighting equipment and related systems.

* Conduct routine inspections and maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment status.

* Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company safety procedures.





* Assist during emergency situations and support fire response activities whenever required

.

* Coordinate with the O&M; team to ensure uninterrupted operation of fire protection systems.

* Maintain housekeeping standards in fire pump rooms and equipment areas.

* Report equipment deficiencies and recommend corrective actions to the supervisor.

Preferred Experience

("Note: Mandatory ITI Certification")

* Minimum *4+ years* of experience in Operations & Maintenance of firefighting systems.

* Experience in industrial plants, infrastructure projects, naval facilities, ports, power plants, shipyards, or other large-scale facilities will be preferred.
