- Proven experience with InnoDB engine internals.
- Proven experience with the MySQL query optimizer.
- Automation mindset.
- Proven database migration experience.
- Proven experience with database upgrades. Say, 8-8.4
- Proven troubleshooting experience.
- Experience working with data sizes in the TB range and large clusters (e.g., 20-50 nodes per cluster) is beneficial.
- Good if you able to convert business use case to technical.
- Proven experience with the Wired Tiger engine.
- Positive understanding of sharding,partitioning,



sharded clusters, replication, HA and DR.
- Good understanding of HTAP solutions.
- Good understanding of OLAP ( LSM) based databases.
- Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and containers.
- Cloud SQL and RDS.
- One OLTP ( MySQL ) One NoSQL (either MongoDB or Cassandra).
- Proficiency in any one programming language.
