ROLE SAP APO ABAP Consultant

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The APO ABAP Consultant is responsible for developments in APO Implementation and Support projects including activities like coding, testing, implementation, configuration and support for SAP systems including integration with nonSAP applications in a project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Helping implement custom solutions in APO ABAP, successfully in customer organizations.

Liaising with Solution Architect, Technical Lead, Functional Consultants and Technical peers to achieve project goals within expected timelines.

Drive and Assist with building Assets and Accelerators within SAP APO for CoE.

Build repository of custom development implemented by Bristlecone for unique business requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

End to end APO implementation or APO Support project not including Rollouts

ABAP Certification would be an added advantage

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

Good level of understanding of at least 2 modules of SAP APO across DP, SNP, PPDS, GATP





Ability to implement an end to end solution while understanding the integration aspects between different modules within APO as well as of APO with ERP systems

Ability to propose multiple workable solutions as per best practices

Basic understanding of ECC and APO Master data

Expert in CIF, Integration Models, BAPIs, BADIs, Enhancement Framework, User and Customer Exits in APO

Positive to have experience in Planning Books and LiveCache COM routines

Experience in interacting with functional developers to provide daily operational support as well as solution implementation for enhancements and projects

Worked on performance tuning and enhancements of existing reports
