About the Role

Pyramid Infratech is seeking an experienced Mechanical Foreman to manage the maintenance and operational readiness of construction machinery, heavy equipment, and tools at our project site in Gurugram. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance, ensuring maximum equipment availability with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise the maintenance and repair of all construction machinery and mechanical equipment at the project site.
- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to ensure uninterrupted site operations.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
- Maintain and service equipment including:

- Tower Cranes
- Passenger & Material Hoists
- Bar Bending & Bar Cutting Machines
- Concrete Mixers
- Dewatering Pumps
- DG Sets
- Welding Machines
- Air Compressors
- Concrete Vibrators and other site machinery

- Prepare and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and equipment service records.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend corrective actions to reduce downtime.
- Ensure availability of spare parts, lubricants, consumables, and maintenance tools.
- Coordinate with OEMs and external service providers for major repairs and annual maintenance.
- Supervise mechanics and technicians,



allocating work and ensuring timely completion.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential failures before they impact operations.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety standards and statutory requirements.
- Maintain proper housekeeping of the workshop, tools, and machinery storage areas.

Candidate Profile

- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance of construction equipment within a real estate, infrastructure, or construction company.
- Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, mechanical transmissions, pumps, bearings, and heavy construction machinery.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot mechanical failures and perform emergency repairs.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance planning and equipment documentation.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work at a project site in Gurugram.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with high-rise residential or commercial construction projects.
- Knowledge of tower crane and construction hoist maintenance.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems related to construction equipment.
- Strong focus on equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.
