Job Description
The Systems Programming Analyst will be a part of the research, evaluation, design, development, testing, operational maintenance, protection, and support of UPS technology, Bluecat appliances, which currently manage our DNS, DHCP, NTP, and services respectively for the enterprise globally.
The Systems Programming Analyst is responsible for managing the DNS/DHCP/NTP environments end-to-end. They will also be responsible for maintaining a partnership with our vendors and customers, holding them accountable for delivering on products, appliances, services and support.

Responsibilities:
Analyses, Designs, Develops, & Validates OS & 3rd-Party Software Solutions
Assist the team in development of customized third-party software installations to meet business requirements.
Assist the team in projects to introduce new and replacement systems into the business workplace.
Assist the team with technical visualizations of proposed solutions to be approved by customers and executed by the design team.
Translates logical flows and models into physical designs to produce detailed design specifications.
Assist the team with development, design,



and support of customized automation solutions to meet business needs.
Researches, evaluates, recommends, implements, and supports third-party solutions to fulfill business requirements.
Assist the team with infrastructure availability, maintainability, serviceability, and supportability satisfies performance targets and service levels to ensure quality of output.
Evaluates Problem Management
Partners with business stakeholders to communicate status and to assist in determining business impacts.
Implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures to ensure problem resolution and to reduce risk of recurrence.
Monitors actions and maintains records taken to communicate problem resolution status.
Root cause investigations to determine problem origin and mitigate recurrence.
Facilitates third-party vendor support services escalations to meet business recovery SLA s and determine root causes.
Provides problem-solving analyses and root cause analyses to ensure timely resolution of distribution problems.
Assesses, monitors, and addresses network impacting issues and develops plans to reduce risk of incidents.
