About the Role

We're looking for a Business Development Manager who lives and breathes relationships someone who already has a working network of architects, builders, real estate developers, and vendors, and knows how to convert those connections into steady project pipelines. This is a channel-partnership-first BD role, not a cold-outreach sales role.

Key Responsibilities

- Build, manage, and expand a network of architects, builders, developers, and material/vendor partners as consistent referral channels
- Generate qualified project leads through channel relationships for high-end residential interior design and execution projects
- Represent The Artful Abode at industry events, architect meets, vendor expos, and trade forums
- Negotiate and structure referral/commission arrangements with channel partners
- Maintain a CRM pipeline of partner relationships, project referrals, and conversion tracking




- Collaborate with design and execution teams to ensure smooth handoff from lead to project kickoff
- Identify new vendor and material partnerships (furniture, lighting, hardware, sanitaryware) for cross-referral opportunities

Requirements

- Proven network of architects, builders, contractors, or vendors in Bengaluru's real estate/interior design ecosystem
- 4+ years in business development, channel sales, or trade partnerships interior design, real estate, or building materials industry preferred
- Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
- Comfortable with target-driven, relationship-based sales cycles (not transactional)
- Existing contacts in premium/luxury residential segment is a robust plus
