Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MuleSoft Performance Engineer with 512years of experience in MuleSoft API performance tuning, platform administration, and production support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in optimizing API response times, improving MuleSoft architecture, monitoring platform health, and ensuring high availability of enterprise integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize MuleSoft APIs to improve performance and response times.
- Enhance MuleSoft architecture by implementing best practices for scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Optimize API integrations through techniques such as:
- Pagination for large payloads
- Connection pooling
- API caching
- Breaking down monolithic APIs into microservices
- Auto-scaling deployments
- Asynchronous error logging

- Perform day-to-day production support and maintenance activities for MuleSoft environments.
- Monitor application performance, server health, and infrastructure to ensure platform stability.
- Manage MuleSoft API assets, infrastructure, platform accounts, logs, and ESB components.
- Perform routine health checks including:

- Server health and uptime monitoring
- JVM heap analysis
- Performance and application logs
- Core server dumps
- OS event logs
- Scheduler and transaction monitoring
- Port availability checks
- Automated log rotation and archiving

- Install, configure,



and maintain Mule ESB and Mule Management Console.
- Package, deploy, and manage MuleSoft applications across different environments.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures.
- Create and maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and deployment guides.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure seamless API operations.

Required Skills

- 6–8 years of experience with MuleSoft and enterprise integration solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Mule ESB and Anypoint Platform.
- Expertise in API performance tuning and response time optimization.
- Experience implementing caching, pagination, connection pooling, and asynchronous processing.
- Strong understanding of API lifecycle management and microservices architecture.
- Experience in installing, configuring, and administering Mule ESB environments.
- Hands-on experience with packaging and deploying MuleSoft applications.
- Experience monitoring JVM performance, application logs, and server health.
- Knowledge of production support, incident management, and performance troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and server administration.
- Robust analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
