- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Prepare detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones
- Develop construction schedules using tools like Primavera / MS Project
- Ensure alignment with client requirements and approvals
- Approve bills, invoices, and contractor payments
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
- Oversee day-to-day construction activities
- Ensure work is executed as per drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and subcontractors
- Resolve on-site issues and delays
- Manage and lead project teams (engineers, supervisors, labor)
- Allocate manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently
- Conduct regular site meetings and progress reviews
- Ensure construction meets quality standards and specifications
- Conduct inspections and quality audits
- Implement QA/QC procedures
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech)
- Masters Degree (M.Tech / MBA in Construction Management)
- 1020+ years of experience in building construction projects
- Proven experience in high-rise buildings, residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects
- Robust exposure to complete project lifecycle (planning to handover)
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards
- Experience with project planning tools like Primavera / MS Project
- Good understanding of drawings, BOQs, contracts, and tendering
- Familiar with quality standards and safety regulations
