Core Technical Skills
Robust experience in Embedded Linux and Linux kernel internals
Strong C programming skills
Experience in Android BSP development
Experience with Qualcomm platforms and CAF releases
Experience with Linux kernel 4.x/5.x/6.x
Understanding of Android boot architecture
Experience with Linux device driver development
Strong debugging skills using:
dmesg
logcat
UART logs
crash analysis
Experience with Device Tree (DTS/DTBO)
Experience in kernel module development and debugging
Knowledge of Android partition layout and boot images

Build System & Tools
Experience with:
Yocto / Buildroot (preferred)
Android build system
Soong / Android.bp
Makefiles
Familiarity with Git, Gerrit, and CI workflows
Experience with shell scripting/Python scripting

Preferred Skills
Experience in GKI migration projects




Experience with Android 15/16 platform upgrades
Experience with Qualcomm bootloader/debug flow
Exposure to modem/RIL integration
Knowledge of OTA update_engine architecture
Experience in performance optimization and power tuning

Nice to Have
Experience with camera/display subsystem debugging
Experience in board bring-up activities
Exposure to secure boot and TrustZone concepts
