- Receiving washing and decontamination of instruments.
- Packing of instruments Sterilizing and validation.
- Storing and distribution of sterile items to user areas.
- Preparation of various dressing materialsCleaning the Department according to the protocol.
- Maintenance of the equipment.
- Record maintenance of all the batches & Batch monitoring
- To provide sterile instruments and other sterile items used in patient care.
- To maintain records of the effectiveness of the procedures used in disinfection and sterilization.Immediate escalation of any failure of sterilizer or failure of batch or biological indicators.
- To be aware of NABH standards and maintain documentation accordingly.
- Any other responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager.
