Lead Manufacturing Excellence with a 60-Year Legacy

Oriental Compressor Accessories Pvt. Ltd. is one of India's leading manufacturers of precision-engineered compressor spare parts, serving customers across India and over 70 countries. We are looking for an experienced and visionary General Manager Operations / Production to lead our manufacturing operations, drive operational excellence, and support our continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

Factory Operations

- Lead and manage overall factory operations, including Production, Maintenance, Quality Control, Stores, and Dispatch.
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and quality management systems.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Production Management

- Plan, monitor, and optimize production schedules to ensure timely delivery of high-quality compressor spare parts.
- Maximize production efficiency, machine utilization, and workforce productivity.
- Oversee CNC machining operations and manufacturing processes.
- Manage production budgets, operational costs, and resource allocation.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.

Quality & Safety

- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and Occupational Health & Safety standards.




- Establish and monitor quality control systems and inspection processes.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive and corrective actions.
- Promote a strong culture of workplace safety and operational discipline.

Supply Chain & Procurement

- Develop solid relationships with suppliers and strategic vendors.
- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, components, and consumables.
- Negotiate supplier contracts to achieve cost efficiencies without compromising quality.

Leadership & People Management

- Lead, mentor, and develop production and operations teams.
- Build a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Drive employee performance management, coaching, succession planning, and talent development.

Financial & Operational Performance

- Manage operational budgets and monitor plant financial performance.
- Analyze production and financial data to support informed decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process optimization, and profitability improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with Sales, Design, Engineering, Purchase, and R&D; teams to ensure seamless execution of customer requirements.
- Maintain strong communication with customers,



suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

- Strong understanding of compressor spare parts, including valves, pistons, piston rods, seals, cylinders, and related precision components.
- Knowledge of compressor applications across industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Power, Fertilizers, Steel, Marine, and Process Industries.
- Extensive experience managing CNC production facilities and precision machining operations.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in Operations or Manufacturing Management will be an added advantage.
- 15-20+ years of progressive experience in Operations or Production Management within precision engineering, compressor components, valves, pumps, heavy engineering, or industrial manufacturing.
- Proven experience in leading manufacturing teams and driving operational excellence.
- Thorough knowledge of CNC machining, production planning, quality systems, and plant operations.
