Washery Operation

Role & responsibilities

- Real-time Monitoring: Operation and monitoring of the Washery process and filter press through SCADA/DCS systems to ensure optimal production flow.
- System Diagnostics: Identifying mechanical & electrical faults, interlock failures, and communication errors from the control room and coordinating with the field team for rectification.
- Operation and maintenance of filter press.
- Planning, budgeting and maintaining spares for filter press.
- Process Coordination: Coordinating between the raw coal feed, the washing process, filter press and the product dispatch sections to maintain a balanced circuit.

Functional Competencies

- Process Knowledge: Understanding of coal washing circuits (Heavy Media Cyclones, heavy media bath, thickeners and filter press).
- Preventive Maintenance: Ability to schedule mechanical/ electrical maintenance windows without disrupting the core process.

Preferred candidate profile

Mechanical graduate with 5+ years experience in Coal Washery / Mineral Processing / Heavy Industrial Process Plants.
