Designation: Process Planning Engineer

Office Location: Hosur Plant (Plant)

1. Conduct update PFMEA (only specialists) and identify process controls, participate in DFMEAs
2. Prepare finalize DFM / DFA / DFP / ECR Analysis. The feedback should reflect benchmarking across various models and should aid ease of manufacturing.
3. Set Manufacturing process targets - The targets should be in line with project targets and also should be aspirational to signify continual improvement.
4. Prepare FPDRs/ PCRs and Projects plans with complete facility planning and layout planning for new projects / ECRs, Prepare TCBs.
5. Selection of Machinery, tooling's and special gauges through complete techno commercial evaluation and equipment note preparation and approval.
6. Ensure order release, DAP completion with supplier, equipment trails at supplier and with proving engineer and clearance for despatch after checking compliance to equipment note/conditions as mutually agreed upon.
7. Create PFD, Control Plan,



Part submission warrant compile and upload progressive PPAPs final PPAP for approval as per project milestones; Verify rate routing for adequacy and correctness.
8. Monitor Alpha, Beta and QP Manufacturing and achievement of results as per set MPT and Identify corrective actions and plans for non-achievements.
9. Prepare action plans for process improvement projects/identify alternate processes to improve P, Q, C, D S in existing manufacturing cells / Current paint developments, New jigs Stickering fixtures development.
10. Support in Analysing resolving existing line problems; Train operator and module controllers if required.
11. Conduct Process cell audits/Process plant audits, give feedback with correction methods, Assist GL in audits reviews, support and train proving engineers.
