Role Description: for HVAC Designer

1. Preparation of Duct Layout as per the heat load calculation
2. Preparation of AHU Room layout Plant room Layout with maintenance space
3. Clash check with civil Beam, Column, Lighting, cable trays, Fire fighting Line etc..
4. Calculate the no of Grille diffusers as per the room calculation with aesthetic view
5. Preparation of duct, HVAC Equipment s HVAC accessories in standard layer
6. Arrangement of Ventilation, Exhaust fan.
7. Preparation of HVAC related power and control cables.
8. Modelling of all HVAC items including cable trays.

Technical Competency:

1. Awareness of Duct sizing, pipe sizing, cable routing
2. Awareness of HVAC Equipment like Air Handling Unit,



Air Cooled Condensing Unit, Water Cooled Condensing Unit, Vapour Absorption Machines, Chemical Filter, Humidifier etc
3. Awareness of Civil Structure layout (Beam, Column, Wall, False ceiling Layout, Top of Concrete, Finish Floor Level, Fire fighting Line, Gas Fire / Smoke detector etc..)
4. Familiar with codes like; ASHRAE, SMACNA, DW, IS, etc
5. Awareness of Volume control damper, Fire damper, Grille diffusers, Louvers
6. HVAC Utilities like Refrigerant, Chilled water cooling water pipe, Condensate Drain

Soft Skills:

1. Working in a self-supporting self-engaging manner
2. Good written verbal communication skill in English
3. Effective team member

Software Knowledge:

1. Revit, Microstation, AutoCAD 2D, 3D Modelling
