Job Description Job Title: Environmental Graphic Designer - EMEA

Location: Gurgaon, India

Job type: Full time

Reports To: Production Manager - EMEA

Role Overview

Trek is seeking an Environmental Graphic Designer to create visual content that effectively communicates the brand and product stories across various applications in our EMEA region. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a strong desire to exceed expectations, and the ability to collaborate positively within a team environment. Responsibilities include developing and producing 3D graphic treatments for retail spaces, managing multiple projects under tight deadlines, and ensuring deliverables are executable and accurately fabricated and installed, with projects ranging from single graphics to complete store design packages.

Key Responsibilities:

35% PRODUCTION DESIGN

Create print/production ready art for vendor quoting and production. Communicate concepts and solutions to both internal and external stakeholders through drawings, renders, and verbal communication in all phases of the process. Ensure the design is executable using a clear understanding and knowledge of material applications. Provide proper specifications for the given project, budget and retail space. Build and maintain vendor relationships to ensure execution of design.

Examples include: interior and exterior signage, large format graphics, P.O.P. displays, print and design specification documents, installation elevations and guides

20% QUALITY ASSURANCE:

Ensure the document deliverables for all 2D and 3D elements are executable and clearly communicated to guarantee they are accurately fabricated and installed. Develop and maintain processes to ensure oversight of the fabrication and installation. Identify opportunities for improvement in the process and deliverables.

Examples include:



maintaining up to date shared documentation, communicate with vendors, evaluate processes for improvement

35% RETAIL ENVIRONMENT DEVELOPMENT

Collaborate with internal design, marketing and product teams to develop and produce solutions for retail environmental and graphic design needs. Work within a team to understand concepts and develop 2D and 3D retail solutions for products and marketing to enhance the customer-focused experience in store. Iterate on existing designs to provide a more local feel for retail environments. Maintain relationships with key internal clients to produce consistent solutions that meet the budget, space and brand goals at retail.

Examples include: designing visuals for brand graphics, typographic or illustration based graphics, design intent documents, creating locally relevant environmental graphics

10% MISCELLANEOUS PRODUCTION:

(Digital + Print)

Produce localised digital assets for websites, social media, and email based on existing designs. Deliver web assets using the required specifications. Produce and deliver print ready documents for various forms of media.

Examples include: applying appropriate logo treatment to custom jerseys, creating stationary assets for retailer use, design event collateral for use at expos, creating assets for digital advertising, corporate interior graphics

Skills and Qualifications:

Must Have:

- A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, a related creative discipline,



or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2+ years of professional experience within a creative team focusing on Environmental Graphic Design EGD or retail-built environments.
- A portfolio demonstrating knowledge of scale and spatial application of environmental graphics
- Proven experience researching and specifying materials for both 2D and 3D applications of graphics
- Hands-on experience producing high-fidelity, large-format graphics, window displays, and point-of-purchase (POP) installations, including production print files
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, and be comfortable working directly with key stakeholders
- Must be comfortable working collaboratively to execute projects
- Ability to work with minimal supervision on projects, as well as organize and self-manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to quickly grasp project programs, parameters, brand standards and templates while being sensitive to established creative integrity
- Proficient in graphic design applications including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency is required
- Solid written and verbal English language skills are required

Good to have:

- Experience with SketchUp or Revit is a plus
- The ability to speak other European languages especially French, Spanish, Italian, and German is a plus, but not essential
- Experience designing for an enthusiast/lifestyle brand
- Experience reading construction drawings and blueprints
