- Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts including EPC, design-build, subcontractor agreements, and consultancy agreements.
- Advise stakeholders on construction-related claims, change orders, delay disputes, and termination issues.
- Assist with project risk assessment and risk mitigation strategies throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with relevant federal, state, and local construction regulations and licensing requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and external counsel as needed.
- Support dispute resolution, including litigation or arbitration proceedings when necessary.
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Law; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Construction Lawyer.
- Strong understanding of construction law and industry practices.
- Solid understanding of standard construction contracts, including AS 4000, D&C;, EPC, and bespoke agreements.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team setting.
- Experience advising on large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects.
