- Build a highly scalable product right from scratch.
- Design information architecture, system architecture, code architecture, API driven development.
- Abstract hard and complex problems behind very easy interfaces. Ability to make things simpler for everyone is the most desired attribute.
- Create setup for continuous integration, test driven development, and create the culture of writing code to test your code.
- Create real time monitoring systems to measure performance of the system.
- Write software tools to review and enforce guidelines for code quality. Automation is the key.
- Responsible for designing, coding, documenting and maintaining a robust backend that scales for high traffic and high volume of data.
- Solve complex engineering problems related to web, scalability, code optimization and architecture.
- Work with the engineering team in continuously upgrading and building new technology skills and methodologies.
