- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and measurements, ensuring accuracy.
- Explore, evaluate, and integrate alternative materials into projects to optimize cost-efficiency, performance, sustainability, and risk management.
- Responsible for scheduling & planning of purchase of each material in specific quantities.
- Verify the quantity of materials present in the BoQ.
- Compare the designs, drawings against BoQ on behalf of the developers.
- Raise request for quantity of the materials required to the purchase manager.
- Soft copy of all the reports to be generated.
- Verify if the quantity of materials used on site is in line with the bills.
- Reverify the purchased quantity against the bills.
- Identify risks and opportunities, developing mitigation strategies.
- Prepare, execute & manage contractual documents, including tender documents, specifications and conditions of contract based on the quantifications.
- Verifying and Certifying invoices or bills submitted by vendors.
- Administering the process followed & work done at the site against contracts, throughout the project lifecycle,
ensuring all the parties are adhering to contractual obligations and terms.
- Manage changes to contracts as & when required, ensuring proper documentation and approval processes.
- Ensure smooth closure of contracts upon project completion, including final payments and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field.
- 16 -19 years of experience in contract management, quantity surveying, with a focus on shuttering works within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing quantities and costs for shuttering activities on large-scale projects.
- Solid analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to perform accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimations.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
