Job Title: Battery & Container Design Engineering Manager (BESS)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Battery & Container Design Engineering Manager to lead the design and development of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in battery pack design, container engineering, system integration, product development, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop battery packs and BESS container systems.
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) from concept to production.
- Plan and execute product validation, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), and SAT (Site Acceptance Test).
- Integrate battery systems with BMS, PCS, HVAC, and thermal management systems.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturing teams for successful project execution.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, UL, and other relevant industry standards.
- Lead and mentor the engineering team while ensuring timely project delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications





- B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
- 8-10 years of experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or battery design.
- Solid knowledge of battery pack design, container design, and system integration.
- Hands-on experience with NPI, FAT, and SAT.
- Good understanding of BMS, PCS, HVAC, and thermal management.
- Familiarity with IEC, UL, and other applicable standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and manufacturing partners.
