- Operate and monitor ammonia plant equipment such as compressors, pumps, turbines, reactors, heat exchangers, scrubbers, and associated systems.
- Conduct routine field rounds and inspect equipment for leaks, abnormal noise, vibration, temperature, and pressure.
- Monitor process parameters through DCS/PLC and field instruments.
- Start up, shut down, and stabilize plant equipment as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Record process parameters and maintain shift logbooks.
- Coordinate with Control Room Operators, Maintenance, Instrumentation, and Utility teams for smooth plant operations.
- Identify process deviations and take corrective actions within authorized limits.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, Permit to Work (PTW), Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), and emergency response procedures.
- Report equipment abnormalities and assist in troubleshooting activities.
- Participate in planned shutdowns, startups, and maintenance activities.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in the assigned operating area.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Follow ISO, EMS, and company quality standards.
