Job Title: System & Security Support Engineer (L2/L3)

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 Days Work from Office per Week)

Base Location: Bangalore

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced L2/L3 System & Security Support Engineer with strong expertise in IT infrastructure, system administration, cybersecurity operations and 24/7 support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring system reliability, maintaining endpoint and cloud security, and providing advanced technical support across servers, networks, and Microsoft 365 environments. This role demands hands-on experience in troubleshooting, monitoring, and securing enterprise systems using modern tools and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide L2/L3 technical support for infrastructure systems including servers, endpoints, and networks.
- Administer and maintain Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).
- Manage and support Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online and SharePoint administration.
- Monitor and respond to system performance, availability, and security incidents.
- Implement and manage endpoint protection and compliance through tools like Microsoft Intune.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments using tools such as Rapid7 and ensure timely remediation.
- Oversee patch management using tools like BigFix, SCCM, or ManageEngine.
- Collaborate with security teams to handle incident response, threat mitigation, and compliance audits.
- Manage backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Barracuda) and ensure business continuity.
- Maintain detailed system documentation, configurations, and change control logs.




- Support and enhance email security using tools like Checkpoint and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
- Coordinate with teams for system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery planning.

Required Skills:

- 5+ years of experience in System/Support Engineering with exposure to Cybersecurity.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory / Azure AD, and network protocols.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint).
- Proficiency with security monitoring tools SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, DLP, Defender, CrowdStrike, Zscaler, etc.
- Familiarity with endpoint protection and device compliance using Intune.
- Skilled in patch management, vulnerability scanning, and incident response.
- Excellent troubleshooting ability across infrastructure and application layers.
- Robust communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have:

- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CEH, Microsoft Certified, Cisco Security, or similar.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and cloud security best practices.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira).
- Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation and routine tasks.
