Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Application Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in Siemens Capital software to support electrical design, wiring harness development, and engineering data management activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Capital tools and a strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, wiring harness design, and engineering change processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and maintain electrical schematics using Siemens Capital Logic Designer.
- Develop intelligent electrical systems and connectivity models.
- Create and manage reusable components, symbols, libraries, and design standards.
- Perform electrical rule checks, connectivity validation, and design verification.
- Generate engineering documentation, reports, and BOMs from Capital projects.
- Support customers in electrical system architecture and schematic development activities.
- Work with Capital Harness Designer (CHD) for harness flattening and manufacturing documentation.
- Support Capital Integrator for integration with PLM, ERP, and MCAD systems.
- Work with Capital Publisher for technical publication and documentation requirements.
- Understand electrical routing workflows between Siemens Capital and NX CAD.




- Support data migration, library management, and project customization activities.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to customers.
- Conduct software demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and pilot projects.
- Deliver user training programs and workshops.
- Participate in customer implementation and deployment projects.
- Collaborate with development and support teams to resolve technical issues.
- Support the sales team with technical presentations and product demonstrations.
- Prepare technical proposals, solution documents, and effort estimations.
- Understand customer requirements and propose suitable Siemens Capital solutions.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience with Siemens Capital software.
- Experience in electrical schematic creation and connectivity management.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, wire harness systems, and component libraries.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Willingness to travel for customer engagements, implementation, and training activities.
