Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN and WAN infrastructure.
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and wireless controllers.
- Manage routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and static routing.
- Configure and maintain VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, and inter-VLAN routing.
- Implement and support VPN technologies (Site-to-Site, Remote Access, IPSec, SSL VPN).
- Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity using network monitoring tools.
- Perform network troubleshooting and root cause analysis for connectivity and performance issues.
- Configure and manage network security devices, including firewalls and ACLs.
- Ensure high availability through redundancy and failover configurations.
- Work with ISPs and telecom providers to resolve WAN connectivity issues.
- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and change records.
- Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.
- Perform firmware upgrades, patch management, and preventive maintenance.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLANs, and subnetting.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, HPE, Aruba,



or Fortinet networking devices.
- Good understanding of routing and switching concepts.
- Experience with WAN technologies such as MPLS, SD-WAN, and leased lines.
- Knowledge of network security concepts including ACLs, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Experience with wireless technologies (Cisco/Aruba Wireless).
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, or Zabbix.
- Understanding of QoS, High Availability (HSRP/VRRP), and load balancing.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.
- Positive analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- SD-WAN implementation and support.
- Cisco DNA Center, Cisco ISE, or Aruba Central.
- Network automation using Python, Ansible, or scripting.
- Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- NAC (Network Access Control) solutions.
- Experience with enterprise firewall platforms such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco Firepower.

- Cisco CCNA / CCNP Enterprise
- Fortinet NSE
- Juniper JNCIA/JNCIS
- Aruba Certified Associate/Professional
- ITIL Foundation
