Job Description: Senior JavaScript & jQuery Developer (8+ Years Experience)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior JavaScript Developer with strong expertise in jQuery to design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of front-end development, modern JavaScript frameworks, and the ability to deliver scalable and effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain agile, responsive, and scalable web applications using JavaScript and jQuery.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Develop and optimize UI components for maximum performance across browsers and devices.
- Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and usability.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues in existing applications.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design implementation.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
- Integrate frontend components with RESTful APIs and backend systems.
- Stay updated with evolving front-end technologies and recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in front-end development.




- Robust experience in core JavaScript (ES5/ES6+) and advanced programming concepts.
- In-depth expertise in jQuery (DOM manipulation, AJAX, event handling).
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design frameworks.
- Experience with cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON integration.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Hands-on experience with debugging tools and browser developer tools.
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with modern frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Knowledge of TypeScript.
- Exposure to build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Basic knowledge of backend technologies (Node.js, Java, etc.) is a plus.
