Role & responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Digital Printing function to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery commitments are achieved.
- Plan and oversee daily digital printing operations, ensuring optimum machine utilization and production efficiency.
- Develop and standardize printing processes to achieve consistent color accuracy and print quality.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, Design, Sampling, Planning, and Production teams to ensure timely execution of customer orders.
- Ensure accurate color matching, strike-offs, sampling, and bulk production approvals as per customer requirements.
- Optimize ink consumption, fabric utilization, and other consumables to reduce production costs and improve productivity.
- Monitor machine performance, preventive maintenance schedules, and coordinate with Engineering/Maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Lead troubleshooting of printing defects, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, customer specifications, and environmental, health & safety (EHS) requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and process optimization projects.
- Monitor and report key production and quality KPIs such as productivity, machine efficiency, wastage, rework, and on-time delivery.

and develop the Digital Printing team, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
- Stay updated with the latest digital printing technologies, inks, software, and industry best practices to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
- Coordinate with suppliers and machine manufacturers for technical support, upgrades, and process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory requirements, and customer compliance standards

Preferred candidate profile

- B.E./B.Tech in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, Printing Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1015 years of experience in Digital Textile Printing, preferably in the Home Textile industry.
- Hands-on experience with digital textile printing machines (e.g., MS Printing Solutions, EFI Reggiani, Zimmer, Atexco, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of textile printing processes, color management, RIP software, ICC profiles, inks, pretreatment, and post-processing.
- Experience in reactive, pigment, acid, or disperse digital printing processes.
- Sound understanding of textile quality standards, color fastness testing, and customer compliance requirements.
- Robust leadership, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with export-oriented home textile manufacturers is preferred.
