SUMMARY To deliver P&L; operations through product, process, people, ambience and service across all stores in the area

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales

- Formulate and implement store strategies for growth
- Drive sales for the stores of the area to maximize profitability

Stock management

- Manage stock by controlling key parameters
- Ensure perpetual inventory and global stock count is done to control shrinkages
- Manage fixture capacity and stock turns
- Work with planning team to achieve budgeted sell through
- Work with SCM team to plan stock movement for peak season and season change over

Business Review

- Participate in the monthly business review with the Regional Business Head, TOM and Store Manager
- Monitor store administration through weekly meetings and store visit checklists
- Give periodic feedback on products to the buying team
- Participate in planogram review and BOH review

Budget and expense control

- Prepare financial budgets for the area for the entire year
- Control costs within budgetary guidelines through efficient operations
- Take ownership of the fixed assets at stores and ensure the team also takes responsibility for the same

Store Operations standards and management

- Understand the MAX retail SOPs & processes and cascade the understanding of the same to the store teams
- Ensure that the team adheres to and implements the MAX retail SOPs and processes
- Maintain retail standards as per brand standards




- Ensure all statutory compliances are adhered to at stores
- Understand the issues at the stores and address the same in collaboration with the concerned functional resource
- Ensure effective deployment of staff to ensure maximum productivity
- Plan, prepare and execute current store launches as per the defined guidelines

Marketing and VM Support

- Provide input to the marketing team on the marketing calendar for the year and provide requiredsupport for implementing the marketing activities • Identify seasonal and location specific promotions and undertake cost benefit analysis as per defined guidelines
- Support the VM team in execution of season changeover and all promotions Customer service
- Understand the MAX standards of customer service and ensure that these standards are adhered to
- Review customer feedback to enhance levels of customer service • Ensure all customer complaints are resolved as per the defined guidelines Market Focus
- Undertake competition analysis
- Understand customer needs & aspirations and share the same
- Identify new commercial opportunities as and when they arise
- Identify new and prospective sites for new stores People management
- Set expectations and give regular feedback to team
- Provide adequate support and motivate the team to deliver on the job
- Guide, coach, train and develop the team
- Manage and motivate the team to ensure high engagement level
