GMx Transition Specialist for Tax - Manager

To qualify for the role, you must have

- Experience in conducting Client facing Transitions
- Experience in transitions for Finance (Tax/F&A;), Banking scope, other Big 4
- Overall professional experience of 9-14 yrs, with client facing experience of at least 1 year

- Project management certification preferred (e.g., PMI PMP, PMI ACP, Agile certifications, Prince2, Six sigma certifications, Safe/ Scrum certifications)

The opportunity

The Implementation Senior plays a key role in executing various phases within an implementation project. This role is expected to anchor and collaborate with team members in setting up implementation plan & metrics, regular monitoring of processes, ensuring controls are in place, risk analyses are performed for every process, adequate training of resources, establishing communication channels with various internal/ external teams for long terms' success.

Your key responsibilities

- Experience in transition management, project management and transformational initiatives within a large-scale, global workplace.
- An ideal candidate must have managed and executed large multi country, multi service, complex implementations.
- Execute detailed transition plans, including risk assessments and milestone tracking.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure all transition activities are completed on schedule and in alignment with client requirements.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and process documentation to ensure operational continuity.
- Monitor and report on transition progress, proactively identifying and resolving issues or bottlenecks.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels, maintaining clear communication and managing expectations throughout the transition lifecycle.
- Project management - process implementation, prepare project plan (both detailed & high level), volume ramp plan, Knowledge Transfer, communication plan, governance plan

Skills and Attributes for Success

- 3 - 9 years of professional experience in transition management,



with a proven track record of successfully managing transitions and transformations in Finance or/and Tax.
- Expertise in identifying and mitigating risks during transitions, and the ability to develop robust transition strategies and contingency plans.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience in coordinating between clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and operational handover.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise multiple transition projects, and adapt to dynamic environments while maintaining high quality standards.

- Understanding of Tax/Finance process (preferred)
- Proven experience in managing stakeholders across functions and levels
- Sound knowledge of MS office suite

- Self-motivated and proactive in managing transition activities
- Experience engaging professionally with diverse cultures and international teams, working across time zones as required
