Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Python Lead with robust expertise in Python development, technical leadership, and scalable backend architecture. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Django, Django REST Framework (DRF), ORM concepts, API development, and team leadership. The candidate will lead development initiatives, mentor team members, and drive best engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable backend applications using Python and Django
• Architect and develop RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF)
• Design and optimize database schemas using ORM concepts and database best practices
• Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and maintain code quality
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, and DevOps teams
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the engineering team
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide long-term solutions




• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to SDLC processes

Required Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience in Python programming
• Expertise in Django Framework
• Strong knowledge of Django REST Framework (DRF)
• Deep understanding of ORM concepts and database optimization
• Experience working with REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Strong understanding of SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
• Experience with Git version control systems
• Knowledge of caching mechanisms and performance optimization
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Team handling and mentoring experience

Good to Have:

- Experience with Docker and containerization
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with asynchronous programming concepts
• Understanding of system design and scalable architecture

Education:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage technical discussions with stakeholders
• Experience handling teams and delivering projects independently
