Duties / Responsibilities

- Handling procurement activities for bought-out parts for railway bogie frames, including castings, forgings, machined parts, piping & pipe fittings, and fabricated assembly parts.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for bogie frame bought-out parts procurement, ensuring alignment with company policies and quality standards.
- Source materials at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards and ensuring timely delivery.
- Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish favorable terms and conditions for procurement transactions.
- Continuously assess supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness, taking corrective actions as required.




- Identify suppliers for various bogie projects from the Indian Railways Vendor Directory where approved source conditions are applicable.

Skills Required

- Robust negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional departments.
