Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Financial Systems Data Analyst to join the core project team. In this role, you will support the implementation of a global Performance Data Model (PDM) by aligning the Workday Foundation Data Model (FDM) with the requirements of each market. You will work closely with local finance teams and the implementation partner to ensure successful FDM design, data migration, and reporting adoption.

Key Responsibilities

Foundation Data Model (FDM) Alignment

- Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to understand and analyze legacy financial structures, including cost center hierarchies and local chart of accounts.
- Support markets in mapping local data to the Workday FDM while ensuring alignment with core concepts such as Cost Centers, Revenue and Spend Categories, and custom organizations.

Data Migration Support





- Act as a key point of contact during data conversion cycles, coordinating between markets and the implementation partner.
- Provide guidance on completing Data Gathering Workbooks (DGWs) for Suppliers, Customers, GL Beginning Balances, and Business Assets.
- Assist in resolving data quality issues to ensure successful and timely data loads.

Global Reporting and Analytics

- Support the adoption of Workdays global reporting framework in newly implemented markets.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis sessions to understand market-specific reporting needs and align them with standardized reports and dashboards.
- Promote global solutions over local customizations wherever possible.

Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in financial systems, ERP implementation, or data analysis.
- Solid understanding of financial accounting principles, Chart of Accounts, P&L; structures, and cost centers.
- Experience working with large datasets and a solid understanding of data quality and data governance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Financials, including Foundation Data Model (FDM) and Worktags.
- Experience in data migration or ERP implementation projects, preferably within a large multinational organization.
