Role & responsibilities

Responsible for performing the following:

- Transferring the targets and work orders received from the Production Planning Department to the operators reporting to him/her, following and controlling the finalization of these works in accordance with their purpose.
- Efficiently planning the work distribution and overworking hours of the operators reporting to him/her.
- In line with the information received from the operators reporting to him/her, solving the problems that need to be solved, communicating the problems which need to be communicated to the management, to his/her superiors and following them up.
- Being aware of the expectations of other units within production and/or other departments outside of production regarding the unit reporting to him/her, solving problems and coordinating communication among them.
- Maintaining the order of the production area and taking necessary precautions.
- Determining the equipment, goods, machinery and similar items needed for production, estimating their costs and presenting them to the Production and Planning Manager.
- Being in contact with domestic suppliers in addition to the Supply Chain Department, transferring technical information about the materials.
- Ensuring the prototyping of new products in line with the information received from the R&D; Department, reporting the situations encountered to the R&D; and Production Departments.
- Keeping in touch with the R&D; Department, ensuring the transfer of studies such as recipe changes, new recipes, raw materials and products to the Production Department.
- Ensuring the flow of information among R&D;, Production Planning, Supply Chain and Production Departments at stages such as determining the product name,



code and recipes in new product definitions and publishing the final information among the relevant departments.
- Regularly walking around the production area during the day, keeping in touch with the operators.
- Notification of the completion of the productions in his/her unit via Axapta system within the day.
- Following the procurement processes of the materials, which are needed to reach the planned daily production quantities but which are not in stock, getting information about the procurement process and making changes and shifts in the work plan accordingly in case of disruptions.
- Attending the weekly production meeting, receiving information about new projects, exchanging information about ongoing and finished projects.
- Checking weekly and monthly production work orders and reporting their completion status to the Production Planning Department.
- Completing scrap product outputs at the end of each month.
- Having the opening of current production work orders at the beginning of each month for the preparation of the materials required to realize the production work orders and having the material controls related to them done.
- Preparing each month's production plans to be followed by the operators, entering the production work order numbers through the Axapta system and distributing them to the operators reporting to him/her.
- Creating a team for year-end counting, counting the materials and semi-finished products for which he/she is responsible and transferring them to the relevant file.




- Fulfilling the different tasks and responsibilities requested by their managers.
- Complying with the occupational health and safety rules and monitoring the compliance.
- Complying with the necessary Environmental and OHS measures specified in processes and instructions.
- Participating in the emergency drills.
- Reporting the hazardous situations that may cause occupational or environmental accidents to the HR & Administrative Affairs Unit.
- Using the necessary protective equipment
- Disposing the wastes appropriately at the points designated by Waste Management.
- Contributing to the development of the system with improvement suggestions on Quality, Environment and OHS.
- Using electricity and water in a careful and meticulous way in order to reduce the use of natural resources.
- Reporting the near miss events to the Occupational Safety Specialist and the immediate manager and helping to take precautions.
- Taking care to minimize the consumption of natural resources on a personal basis and contributing to the measures in order to reduce the energy consumption as determined by Arkel.
- Fulfilling complete his/her duties on emergency communication and plan.
- Obeying the safety signs and signalers.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Preferably graduated from the relevant departments (electrical-electronics, etc.) of Vocational High Schools.
- Having at least 5 years of experience in the production departments of companies operating in technology, electrical-electronics, mechanics.
- Competent in team management.
- Has experience in different areas of production and holds the relevant certifications.
- Solution-oriented and able to work with targets.
- For male candidates, preferably completed his military service.
