Role & responsibilities:
- Deliver production-grade features under senior engineering direction.
- Write clean, testable, well-documented code that other engineers can maintain.
- Participate actively in code reviews & design discussions.
- Support test automation & integration efforts.
- Contribute to team documentation & knowledge sharing.
- Learn from senior engineers & grow toward independent ownership of larger scope.
Preferred candidate profile:
Technical must-have
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python (FastAPI, asyncio, Pydantic) & Java (JDK 21 or a recent LTS release).
- Working experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred): schema design, queries, migrations.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred), containers, & modern deployment (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with event-driven systems (Kafka or equivalent) & API design (REST, OpenAPI).
- Testing practices, CI/CD,
& code review culture.
- Ability to write clean, testable, well-documented code that other engineers can maintain.
- Solid communication skills & willingness to learn from senior engineers.
Nice to have
- Time-series databases (TimescaleDB, InfluxDB, ClickHouse) or graph databases (Neo4j).
- Stream processing frameworks (Kafka Streams, Flink).
- Applied machine learning familiarity: PyTorch, sklearn, XGBoost, or MLflow, or genuine curiosity to learn on the
job.
- LLM application engineering interest: agentic AI, prompt orchestration, tool calling, or side projects using LLMs.
- Frontend familiarity (React with TypeScript) for dashboards.
- OpenTelemetry or similar observability practices.
- Any exposure to telecom, network operations, or infrastructure software.
