Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electronic
- Mandatory: Valid Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) Certified Energy Manager Certification.
- Certification in Energy Audit, ISO 50001, GHG Accounting, or Carbon Management will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 1015 years of experience in industrial energy management.
- Experience in textile, chemical, manufacturing, or process industries preferred.
- Working knowledge of utility systems including electrical distribution, compressors, boilers, HVAC, pumps, cooling towers, DG sets, and renewable energy systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with the Energy Conservation Act and BEE regulations.
- Lead statutory compliance related to the Carbon Credit Trading Scheme (CCTS).
- Prepare and maintain plant energy balance and energy performance indicators.
- Conduct detailed energy analysis and identify energy conservation opportunities.
- Monitor electricity, fuel, steam, compressed air, and water consumption.
- Prepare GHG inventory and support carbon accounting activities.
- Coordinate with BEE, Designated Agencies, accredited verification agencies, and external consultants.
- Lead implementation of energy-saving projects and monitor achieved savings.
- Develop annual energy budgets, targets,



and management reports.
- Conduct internal energy audits and coordinate third-party energy audits.
- Analyze utility performance and recommend process improvements.
- Prepare management presentations, statutory submissions, and compliance reports.
- Conduct employee awareness and training programs on energy conservation.
- Benchmark plant performance against industry best practices.

Required Skills

- Robust understanding of electrical utilities and industrial energy systems.
- Knowledge of BEE regulations, RCO Compliances, PAT Scheme, CCTS, and GHG accounting methodologies.
- Experience with EMS, SCADA, and energy data analytics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
