Job Description Maintenance Intern
Job Title: Maintenance Intern
Department: Engineering & Maintenance
Reports To: Maintenance Sr.Associate / Maintenance Manager
Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech (Mechanical, Electronics)
Job Purpose
To support the Engineering & Maintenance team in ensuring the smooth operation of plant machinery and utilities while gaining practical exposure to maintenance practices, documentation, safety standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of production machinery and utility equipment. ,
- Support daily inspection and monitoring of electrical, mechanical, and utility systems.
- Maintain maintenance records, machine history cards, logbooks, and preventive maintenance checklists.
- Assist in machine installation, commissioning, validation, and trial activities.
- Support utility operations including Air Compressors, Chillers, HVAC,



AHU, DG Sets, RO Plant, and Water Pumps.
- Assist in preparing audit and compliance documents (GMP, FSSC, ISO, EHS, etc.).
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments during maintenance and project activities.
- Help monitor spare parts inventory and maintain proper documentation.
- Follow all EHS, LOTO, PPE, and 5S requirements while performing maintenance activities.
- Participate in TPM, Kaizen, OEE improvement, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and energy-saving initiatives.
- Perform any other maintenance-related assignments as directed by the reporting manager.

Skills Required

- Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical & PLC systems.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance concepts.
- Basic MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Good analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a manufacturing setting.
