Junior Python/Django Developer (Gig-Worker)

Location: Kakkanad, Kochi (Hybrid/Remote)

Compensation: Project-Based / Milestone-Based (10% - 20% of the technical service fee)

The Mission

We are looking for a sharp, mid-to-entry-level Python/Django Developer to join our technical Hands team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust web applications, internal automation tools, and ensuring our clients backend systems run flawlessly.

At ImpressAds, Yyu will be working on integrating marketing data, building custom dashboards, and helping us implement AI-driven automation for our clients, creating websites and building custom applications.

Key Technical Skills (The 5-Star Rating)

Python & Django

Core framework for all our web and backend projects.

REST APIs

Integrating third-party tools (Meta Ads API, Google API, AI APIs).

PostreSQL

Proficiency in PostgreSQL / MySQL.

Frontend

Ability to handle basic HTML/CSS/JS (Bootstrap or Tailwind).

Deployment & Git

Managing code on GitHub/GitLab and deploying to servers (AWS/DigitalOcean).

Key Responsibilities

- Web Development: Develop and maintain clean, scalable backend code using Django.

- Automation:



Write Python scripts to automate repetitive marketing tasks e.g. data scraping, auto-reporting.

- API Integration: Connect our applications with external platforms (WhatsApp Business API, Payment Gateways, CRM systems).

- Database Optimization: Ensure client databases are secure, backed up, and optimized for performance.

- Technical Troubleshooting: Assist the Digital Marketing team with technical issues related to tracking pixels, server-side tagging, and landing page performance.

Requirements

- 0.5 - 2 Years Experience (Self-taught geniuses with a solid GitHub portfolio are welcome).

- Portfolio: Link to at least 2 live Django projects or public GitHub repositories.

- Problem-Solver: A mindset that looks for how to automate this rather than just how to code this.

- Availability: Must be available for weekly technical syncs Virtual or in Kakkanad.
