Oversee and manage daily activities of Accounts Payable , Receivable ,Maintain financial records, Resolve discrepancies and implement efficient processes by ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounts Payable Management:
- Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and vendor reconciliations.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for all payments.
- Processing of Foreign remittances.
2. Accounts Receivable Management:
- Manage the accounts receivable process, including billing, collections, and customer account reconciliations.
- Monitor aging reports and ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables.
- Work closely with the sales team to resolve any invoicing or payment issues.
3. Brand.com Receivables:
- Tracking sales vs. collection for brand.com
- Managing reconciliations with payment gateways like PayU, Rajorpay etc
- Tracking of sales for brand.com in respect of revenue leakages, promotions and discounts
4. General Ledger Accounting:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely closing of accounts, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports.
5. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the finance team and other departments to support financial decision-making.
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: B.Com/MBA in Finance or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in general accounting, including accounts payable, receivables, and statutory compliances.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel and Navision is a must.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
