The Senior Resident in General Surgery is responsible for providing comprehensive surgical care to patients under the guidance of consultants. The role includes patient assessment, perioperative management, emergency services, assisting and performing surgical procedures as per competency, teaching junior doctors and students, and participating in academic and research activities.
Preferred candidate profile
- MBBS with MS/DNB in General Surgery (or as per applicable regulatory guidelines).
- Valid medical registration with the appropriate Medical Council.
- Relevant experience in managing general surgical cases is preferred.
