Key Responsibilities

* Independently manage end-to-end accounting operations.

* Finalization of books of accounts.

* Preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.

* Preparation of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, schedules and account reconciliations.

* Manage GST compliance, including GST return filing, reconciliations and departmental queries.

* Handle TDS computation, deduction, return filing and statutory compliances.

* Ensure timely month-end and year-end financial closing.

* Perform ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.

* Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).

* Prepare MIS reports, budgets, cash flow statements and financial analysis for management.

* Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants and banks.

* Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.

* Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST and other applicable statutory requirements.

* Take ownership of the complete accounting function while ensuring accuracy, timeliness and robust financial controls.





Desired Candidate Profile

* Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.

* Strong practical exposure to accounting operations in a small or mid-sized organisation.

* Thorough knowledge of GST, TDS, Balance Sheet finalisation, financial reporting and statutory compliances.

* Proficient in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP systems will be an added advantage.

* Should be comfortable managing day-to-day accounting activities independently while taking complete ownership of the Finance & Accounts function.

* Robust understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, audit requirements and internal financial controls.

* Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.

* High level of integrity, ownership and attention to detail.

* Preference will be given to candidates based on office proximity.

* Immediate joiners or candidates serving a short notice period will have an added advantage.
