Hiring Senior Manager- Finance & Accounts For a Leading corporate Hospital in Delhi

Position Title: Senior Manager - Finance & Close Operations

Reports To: Head of Finance / CFO

Location: New Delhi (On-site)

Employment Type: Full time, Permanent

Work days: 6 days

Shift Time: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Month-End Financial Close Leadership

Own end-to-end 7-10 day financial close cycles for all organization entities. Lead GL Posting, Account Reconciliations, and Journal Entries for Accruals, Provisions, Depreciation, and Tax Reserves.Drive Close Cycle Optimization by reducing manual steps, automating via n8n, and eliminating exceptions.

2. Balance Sheet Preparation, Validation & Management

- Oversee comprehensive Balance Sheet Preparation across all Asset & Liability Categories.
- Drive Quarterly & Annual Restatement Cycles with full Audit Trail.
- Execute Hygiene Audits, including Aging Analysis, Obsolescence Reserves, Valuation Allowances, and Contingent Liability Reviews.
- Reconcile General Ledger (GL) with Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Fixed Assets, Payroll, and Inventory.
- Produce detailed Management Narratives with YoY, QoQ, and MoM Variance Analysis.

3. Transaction Accounting & Case Management

- Execute Transaction Reviews by tracing Invoice-to-Cash and PO-to-Payment Cycles.
- Validate 3-Way Matching.
- Investigate Accounting Discrepancies identified through Audits, Compliance Reviews, and Exception Reporting.
- Own Disputed Invoices, Credit Notes, Intercompany Settlements, Prior Period Adjustments, and Tax Adjustments.
- Escalate exceptions above 25 Lakhs with Root Cause Analysis and Recommended Actions.

Regulatory, Compliance & Audit Leadership

- Prepare and own GST GSTR-9, TDS Forms 26Q/27Q, and TRACES Reconciliation.
- Coordinate External Audits,



including Trial Balance, Supporting Schedules, Management Representations, and Cash Flow Narratives.
- Lead Income Tax Appeal Cycles and maintain Audit Defence Documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Ind-AS, including Revenue Recognition, Lease Accounting, Fair Value Assessment, and Provision Calculations.
- Support NABH/JCI Audit Documentation and Certification Cycles.

Process Optimization & Automation

- Own SAP HANA Month-End Close Automation Roadmap using n8n Workflows.
- Maintain GL Posting Integrity and Data Governance.
- Build Control Documentation, Audit Files, and Process Runbooks.
- Design Process Control Matrices, including Segregation of Duties, Approval Hierarchies, and Variance Thresholds.
- Champion Continuous Improvement and Automation Initiatives.
- Target: 70% Month-End Close Automation by the end of Year 1.

Team Leadership & Development

- Lead and mentor a team of GL Accountants, Reconciliation Specialists, and Accounts Coordinators.
- Conduct training on Close Procedures, Reconciliation Standards, System Usage, and Accounting Policies.
- Develop expertise in Multi-Entity Consolidation, Tax Provisioning, GST-TDS Reconciliation, and Audit Coordination.

Financial Reporting & Analytics

- Generate Weekly Close Status Reports, Monthly GL Exception Reports, Quarterly Balance Sheet Trend Analysis, and Annual Performance Dashboards.
- Provide actionable insights on Close Efficiency,



Compliance Risks, Variance Analysis, and Process Improvement ROI.
- Expansion Finance Support
- Support expansion by establishing Accounting Infrastructure, Chart of Accounts, GL Hierarchies, and SAP HANA Closing Procedures.
- Prepare Financial Controls Documentation aligned with organizational standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- CA (Chartered Accountant) Mandatory
- 1215 Years of experience in GL Accounting, Month-End Close, Balance Sheet Preparation, and Financial Reporting
- 5+ Years of Close Cycle Leadership and Team Management
- Expertise in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Validation, Transaction Investigation, and Audit Coordination
- Proficiency in SAP ERP
- Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Scenario Modelling, Data Validation)
- Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP / Ind-AS, GST, and TDS / Income Tax
- 80%+ in 10th & 12th (Mandatory)
- Strong Analytical, Problem-Solving, and Communication Skills
- Experience in Team Leadership and Mentoring
